Pattern: “This is my …” (introductions + possession)
Introduce people and things using a natural ‘this is’ pattern.
The pattern
Memorize this as a chunk. Then swap one word at a time.
- Swap the noun: friend → name → phone → ticket.
- Notice how possession works (my/your). In many languages it changes endings or word order.
これは私の友だちです。
Kore wa watashi no tomodachi desu
This is my friend.
