Talking about the future (tomorrow, next week, plans)

How to express plans and future meaning with a safe, high‑frequency pattern.

The strategy

Start with one future pattern that native speakers actually use (often: a helper verb, a particle, or a ‘go’ construction).

  • Combine your future pattern with time words: tomorrow / next week.
  • Practice plans you actually say: I will go, I will work, I will meet a friend.
行きます。

I go / I will go.
行きました。
Ikimashita

ここにいます。
Koko ni imasu

水がほしいです。
Mizu ga hoshii desu

わかりません。
Wakarimasen

トイレはどこですか?

これは私の友だちです。
